Garden Learning Series – Tree ID

When hiking, walking a nature trail, or ambling through a garden or park; have you wondered what the names are of all the trees that surround you? Satisfy that curiosity by joining Smith- Gilbert Gardens volunteer Jack Price for a basic class in tree identification where you will learn there are other ways to identify trees in addition to learning what their leaves look like.  Having a basic understanding of tree names and characteristics will help to enrich your experiences in nature.
