Join us for a memorable evening including live music, delicious food and drinks, and a celebration of the Smith-Gilbert Gardens community. Smith-Gilbert Gardens is set to host its annual fundraising event—Harvest Gathering: A Garden-to-Table Dining Experience—on Sunday, October 4, from 6 to 8:30 p.m. Guests will enjoy a specially curated three-course dinner by Taylor Lairsey of 1885 Grill with wine pairings from Tiger Mountain Vineyards. All proceeds from Harvest Gathering benefit the Smith-Gilbert Gardens Foundation in support of horticultural and educational programming. The Foundation, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, works in a public-private partnership with the City of Kennesaw to maintain the Gardens’ collections, support growth and connect children to nature and art. Garden staff will also host informational booths with opportunities for guests to contribute further to the mission. A limited number of Patron and VIP tickets are available. These tickets include early access to the Gardens with charcuterie and a beverage of your choice, and a private Garden tour led by Executive Director Dave Simpson and Garden Manager Hanna Young. This year’s Harvest Gathering will feature a Bourbon & Wine Pull fundraiser; With each $25 contribution, participants will have the opportunity to select from mystery bags that include a bottle of wine or liquor with values ranging from $25 to over $100. Parking: Parking is available in the main lot off of Pine Mountain Road. Handicap-accessible parking is located inside the Gardens behind the Hiram Butler House.
