Small Business Workshop: Building a Safe Workplace

This free workshop is offered by the City of Kennesaw in partnership with the Small Business Development Center (SBDC). Do you have a safety program in place for your small business? Every business, regardless of size, is required to have a safety program under the General Duty Clause of the OSH law, which outlines responsibilities for both employers and employees. Join a safety expert for a hands-on workshop that will help participants understand workplace hazards and the best methods to control them. Attendees will leave equipped with knowledge of the key elements of a well-functioning health and safety program, as well as the basic legal requirements for maintaining a safe work environment.
