Kids Answer Life Questions: Forget AI, Ask the Children

· Submit A Question From September 1–21, The Childrens and Teens Library is taking over the lobby's Staff Picks display to kick off this interactive project. You can ask a “big life question” for kids to answer by submitting it to the Library Cat mailbox at the display. Selected questions will be explored by kids during these two creative arts workshops in October, with their responses displayed in November. Have fun! For K-5th graders Led by Dandelion Arts Collective Library Meeting Rooms An art-making workshop in response to questions that people in the Longmont community has asked, like: How do you make the world’s best sandwich? What makes someone a good friend? Who is a hero? and more! Through theatre and movement games, visual art, generative stories, and informal interviews kids will create a collection of answers to curated questions from the Longmont community that celebrate their imagination, creativity, and insights. After the workshop, kids’ creations and words will be shared anonymously at the Library through an exhibit celebrating the wisdom of kids and our shared humanity.
