2026 Volunteer-A-Thon Begins

Volunteering your time and talents is an amazing gift to the CGC. From July 31 to November 20, you can extend your impact (and win some cool prizes) by participating in our annual Volunteer-A-Thon! Read on to find out how it works and to sign up. STEP 1: Register so we know you’re participating! STEP 2: Set up your page on our platform. STEP 3: Recruit sponsors who will pledge or donate (any amount!) in honor of your volunteer service. STEP 4: Volunteer with the CGC between Friday, July 31 and Friday, November 20, 2026 and track your hours. Whether you help by working in a community garden, maintaining our grounds, facilitating a field trip, running the Fall Native Plant Festival, restoring a greenspace, building our community herbarium, serving on our board, or any of our other opportunities—they all count! Each month, we’ll also have a prize or raffle for anyone who has set up their personalized page and participated in at least one volunteer event during that month. We’ll be sharing details by email with participants! STEP 5: Collect pledges via your personalized page after the Volunteer-A-Thon ends. STEP 6: Celebrate the end of an amazing season with us at our Winter Open House on Friday, December 4!
