Día de los Muertos Celebración

Día de los Muertos Celebración Sunday, October 4, 1:00 – 3:00 pm Join folklórico artist Luisa Valentín Pelagio for a joyful, hands-on celebration of Día de los Muertos! Luisa will share the meaning behind this vibrant tradition, then guide participants in creating colorful papel picado and tissue-paper flowers to decorate a mini ofrenda. A small sample altar will be available for inspiration, and attendees are welcome to bring photos of loved ones to add. Come learn, create and celebrate together in a warm, community-centered atmosphere for all ages! This exhibition will be on view throughout October during regular library hours. Lake Oswego Public Library is located at 706 Fourth Street, Lake Oswego. For more information, contact April Younglove at 503-534-5667 or [email protected].
