Stairwell Gallery | The Mixed Media Elevated Maps of Susan Schenk

This September, the Stairwell Gallery will come alive with Susan Schenk’s captivating mixed‑media artworks, where forgotten atlas pages are reborn as sculptural, nature‑inspired forms. A self‑confessed cartophile, Schenk rescues maps left behind in a GPS world and transforms them into intricate, elevated compositions that deliberately obscure familiar details and reward close, curious looking. Come to the Library and see what you notice in this unique art display. CURRENT HOURS: Mon-Thu…10:00am – 7:00pm Fri-Sat…….10:00am – 5:00pm Sun………….1:00pm – 5:00pm
