A Clemens Center Mary Tripp Marks School-Time Series production presented by Geodesic Management and Griffin Theatre Company Based on the novel by Alan Gratz, this story follows 4th grader Amy Anne Ollinger as she fights back, when her favorite Newbery Award-winning book is banned from the school library because a classmate’s mom thought it wasn’t appropriate for kids to read. When Amy Anne starts a secret banned booked library in her locker, she soon finds herself on the front line of an unexpected battle over book banning, censorship, and who has the right to decide what she and her fellow students can read.
