Tribute to Immortal and Living Female Composers from Around the World Image courtesy of Ralitsa Georgieva Carolyn Warner, member of the violin and keyboard sections of the Cleveland Orchestra since 1979, and Ralitsa Georgieva, staff collaborative pianist at the Cleveland Institute of Music, have organized a wonderful Women’s History Month program featuring members of the Cleveland Orchestra and faculty from the Cleveland Institute of Music performing compositions by female composers. This evening’s concert features works by the following women: Florence Price Margi Griebling-Haigh Amy Beach Jennifer Conner Virginia J. Sparvier-Wells Stanislava Stoytcheva Dana Ziv The views expressed by performers during this event are their own and do not necessarily reflect the opinions of the Cleveland Museum of Art.
