Drawing with Words: Visual Poetry Workshop

What does a visual art piece make you feel in your body? What emotions and sensations does it invoke? How can we use it to spark our own creativity? In this workshop, we will slow down and listen to our body as we spend time with the artwork in the current exhibition,In the Shadow of the Hand. We will observe and map sensations and use them as a guide to create our own visual poems. Participants will leave with an abstract drawing that includes their poetry (Visual poem) as well as additional writing observations to create new work at home HERE for this workshop. Max 8 participants scale fee $25-$35. Workshop fee includes all writing & drawing materials and guided instruction.
