Coastal spruce forest and river views Join Naturalist Sarah Gladu and fellow nature enthusiasts for a gentle hike at Plummer Point Preserve in South Bristol. Plummer Point is a local favorite, with its lovely coastal spruce forest and lovely views of the Damariscotta River, Seal Cove, and nearby islands. We’ll make a short loop through the woods and stop at the shore to look for seals and seabirds. Bring binoculars if you have them, or borrow a pair of ours. Please be aware, the trails at Plummer Point are characterized by a lot of ups and downs and uneven footing. Good footwear for walking and water is recommended. We love dogs, but ask that you leave them at home for this guided hike. Weather contingencies: We will reschedule as needed only for severe weather. If there are any changes, we’ll notify those who are registered by email and post an update on this page. Please register using the form below.
