About this event
One of 11 upcoming events at Coastal Rivers Conservation Trust.
Come learn how to clean and stratify native seeds! Participants will help clean and sort locally collected native plant seeds, removing chaff and other debris while learning about seed collection and handling. We’ll also prepare seeds for cold stratification, an important step that helps many native species germinate successfully. Participants should bring gloves. This is the second event in a 3-part series focused on native plant propagation. Participants do not need to sign up for all 3 events in the series, but are of course welcome to! The event series includes the following: Seed Collection – October 29th, 3:00-4:30 Seed Cleaning & Stratification – January 14, 3:00-4:30 (This event!) Seedling Transplanting – June 10, 3:00-4:30 For more information or if you have any questions, contact Kyle Amergian at [email protected] Registration is required. Please sign up using the form below.
