Volunteer Training: Be a Coastal Rivers ambassador

Interested in helping to grow our conservation community? Join us for a Volunteer Outreach & Events training and learn how you can be an ambassador for Coastal Rivers at local events throughout the summer and fall. This training is for volunteers who are excited about Coastal Rivers’ mission and want to help with tabling at our weekly farmers market and other community events. We’ll walk through setting up a display, key talking points about Coastal Rivers’ mission and programs, and best practices for engaging with the public. Volunteers will leave feeling confident, prepared, and supported as they go out to spread the word about conservation in the Damariscotta-Pemaquid region. Whether you’re new to volunteering or looking to deepen your involvement, this training is a great way to get involved and make an impact while connecting with your community.
