Presented By KGNU Door time: 7:00 Show time: 7:30 Guitarist and co-founder of The String Cheese Incident, Bill Nershi, and his wife, songwriter, Jilian Nershi, join SCI band member Jason Hann to form Nershi Hann Trio, performing SCI favorites they have penned over the years plus unique material all displayed in their own unique way. Bill and Jilian bring forth a history of harmonies and driving acoustic guitar and more than 30 years of writing songs together, much of which is regularly on display in the SCI repertoire, while Jason’s drumming keeps the sound driving, as it has for the past 20 years alongside the Nershis. An inspired journey through various styles and influences, Nershi Hann Trio is a throwback to the roots of American music, connecting with the audience in a relaxed way through the stories in their songs. While continually finding ways to make the music sound complete as a trio, unique arrangements and a deep catalogue of original songs highlight the trio’s dedication to their craft.
