Artists’ Reception: Ink, Plate, Paper / Impressions

Join us for an evening celebrating two new exhibitions at Columbia City Gallery. Ink, Plate, Paper showcases the work of more than 40 artists from Seattle Print Arts, highlighting the breadth and beauty of contemporary printmaking. Alongside it, Impressions features Columbia City Gallery members Tina Albro, Rupa Palasamudram, Matt Swanson, and Marian Wachter, whose work explores memory, observation, place, and the marks left by experience. The evening will begin with a special Ceasefire Northwest Student Art Awards Ceremony at 5:00 PM, recognizing Washington high school students whose artwork addresses the theme of firearm injury prevention education. Through art, these young artists contribute to important conversations about community safety, awareness, and prevention. This will be led by Columbia City Gallery Member Gregory Engel. Meet the artists, explore the exhibitions, enjoy light refreshments, and celebrate the power of art to spark dialogue, connection, and reflection.
