Vitality Arts Workshop: Mixed Media Painting with Fiber

OverviewIn this workshop for ages 55 and over, participants learn the fundamentals of mixed media painting this hands-on mixed media workshop geared toward older adults, participants will learn the fundamentals of painting through the creation of still life compositions. Participants will examine how artists incorporate fibers into their work to create richly detailed, textured compositions. Building on these techniques, participants will explore functional collage and learn how to enhance their own paintings using fiber-based materials such as fabric and paper prior experience required. All materials are provided.
