Cheer on Connecticut women in sports! Learn about a variety of teams and explore the stories of some CT women who made history in the sports world. Play basketball like Rebecca Lobo, design an ice-skating uniform like Dorothy Hamill, make a hole in one in (mini) golf like Glenna Collett Vare, and more. This program is FREE and great for children of all ages. No pre-registration required. For information on how to request specific accommodations, please visit our Accessibility at the Museum page. Questions? Contact Katerina Tamburrino, Family Programs Manager & Accessibility Coordinator, at [email protected] or 860-236-5621 x222. Free First Weekends are sponsored by Beacon Bank.
