The art classroom can be viewed as a portal to the future and a space to show students what is possible. The Sequence Is Yours is a collaborative exhibition of student and teacher artwork showcasing the power in choice, in dreams, in taking up space, and in moving forward. This exhibition is organized by the fifth cohort of the Teacher Advisory Group (TAG) and seeks to challenge both students and viewers, asking what sequence they will choose for their future. The Sequence Is Yours will be located in the lobby space of ARTECHOUSE Houston and can be viewed without purchasing an admission ticket. During the opening celebration, ARTECHOUSE’s gallery spaces, showcasing their annual exhibition Blooming Wonders: Celebration of Spring, will be available to view for free for those who have RSVPed in advance. Future visitors can also use the code CAMHTAG at checkout for 25% off adult and child admission tickets – www.artechouse.com.This opening celebration is FREE to attend and open to all ages. RSVP is recommended. RSVP Parking & Accessibility Free parking is located within the ARTECHOUSE parking lot located at 600 W. 6th Street, Houston, TX 77007. Please be sure not to park in any spaces designated for neighboring businesses. Please park in spaces marked for ARTECHOUSE or those without a designated parking sign. Street parking is also available along 6th Street. ARTECHOUSE is a fully-accessible space. Mobility devices such as wheelchairs and walkers are allowed on the exhibition floor. About Teacher Advisory Group (TAG) Launched in October 2021, CAMH’s Teacher Advisory Group is a cohort of highly motivated and passionate teachers. The group was created for teachers to share their knowledge and experience with CAMH staff in shaping future programs and vision within the Education and Public Programs department. The Teacher Advisory Group provides strategic recommendations, support in writing exhibition-specific materials, and advocates for CAMH’s programs within their classrooms, schools, and community.
