Join Contemporary Craft in celebrating the launch of their new Blacksmithing Studio with Forging Community: A Celebration of Contemporary Blacksmithing! This full day symposium-style event features live demos and presentations by prominent contemporary blacksmiths, including keynote speaker, Anna Koplik. Andrew Welton, Pat Quinn, and representatives from Rivers of Steel will also be leading demos and lectures. The event also includes a silent auction, market of artist-made work, and two hours of free forge time to finish out the day, guided by artists Glen Gardner and Jared Ondovchik. Experienced blacksmiths and curious newcomers welcome! Gather with craftspeople, artists, and educators to dive into the world of contemporary blacksmithing!
