Learn to crate three dimensional forms and textures into metal with chasing & repousse techniques! All-Day Workshop Date: Saturday, March 7, 2026 Time: 10am-5pm Description: Through the art of Chasing and Repoussé, students will learn to create subtle textures from natural forms. Together, we will explore how to use chasing tools, pitch, and hammering to manipulate copper sheet metal. Students will walk away with a finished wall ornament depicting an image from nature. About the Artist Leah Mazza, originally from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, creates small-scale metal sculptures and drawings that explore otherworldly recollections, sacred objects, and urban decay. She earned her BFA from Edinboro University of Pennsylvania and her MFA from the University of Georgia. From 2021 to the 2025, she has been an adjunct professor of fine metals and 3D design at the University of Georgia.
