Drop into our metals studio and get hand on assistance making your very own Sterling Silver Ring! DROP IN STYLE: 3-hour session! Date: Saturday, December 5th Time: Start times vary: 10 AM, 12 PM, 2 PM (expect to stay for about 2-3 hours after your start time for your ring to reach completion!). You will select your start time when you register. Description: Jewelry making curious? This is your chance!!! Absolute beginner drop-in style metalsmithing has arrived! You’ll start by getting sized for your very own Sterling Silver ring, then instructor, Rachael Scott, and our metals coaches will walk you through bending wire into shape, soldering the ends together, and sanding your ring to completion! We will guide you through the process, offering tips for texturing and finishing options to customize your ring to your personal style! This is a completely beginners welcome offering. No experience expected or required. There are different beginning time slots to choose. Plan to spend about 3 hours from your chosen start time. Three students will be able to begin at each starting time; call up your two best pals and have a SUPER FUN time making matching rings together! Tuition: $95 (Sterling Silver materials included!) Materials: All materials will be provided (if you are viewing this listing on a phone, you might need to scroll down to the bottom of the page which will take you to the eventbrite registration page) Note: We really want you to join us in the studio! Full and partial tuition scholarships are available to offset some of the financial burden of attending a class. Please fill out the application here! Cancellations and Refunds: Workshop cancellations are decided three business days before the start date. If workshops must be cancelled due to insufficient enrollment, the entire class fee will be refunded by check, to your credit card, or Contemporary Craft account for future workshops. Refund Policy: Student refund requests must be made at least three business days before a class begins. There will be a $25 cancellation fee. No refunds will be given without three-business days notice. Processing of refunds takes approximately three weeks.
