Celebrate the NFL Draft coming to Pittsburgh! Weave a towel on a loom dressed up in black and gold! DROP IN STYLE: 3-hour session! Date: Saturday, April 25 Time: Start times vary: 10 AM, 12PM, 2PM (and expect to stay for about 3 hours after your start time for your towel to reach completion!). You will select your start time when you register. Description: Weaving Curious? This is your chance!!! Absolute beginner drop-in style weaving has arrived! And, to commemorate the NFL Draft happening in Pittsburgh this year, we are dressing the looms up in black and gold for this one! Throw a shuttle like the Weave-a-Thon pros! You, too, can make your very own towel! Come on in and weave on pre-dressed looms! Our team of Weave Coaches will prepare your looms before you get here! All, you will need to do is choose some yarn colors and throw a shuttle. And…..not to worry! our Weave Coaches will guide you through the process, offering tips for throwing those shuttles back and forth to build a special and custom towel of your very own design. What’s more, we will help you take the weaving off of the loom and finish and hem your towel before you leave the studio! You can expect your towel to be about 16 x 20 inches (and it will shrink after washing to about 14 x 18), so as a dear weaver once said these will be “towel-ish” sized, and all a bit different. A sweet hand towel to gift to a loved one or to brighten up your own room! This is a completely beginners welcome offering. No experience expected. There are different beginning time slots to choose. Plan to spend about 3 hours from your chosen start time. Three weavers will be able to begin at each starting time; call up your two best pals and have a SUPER FUN time together!
