90th Anniversary Celebration

Join Coos Art Museum on Saturday, November 14, from 11 a.m.–5 p.m. as we celebrate 90 years of our historic home, the former Marshfield Post Office. Built in 1936, this Art Deco landmark has served generations of our community, first as a post office and today as the home of Coos Art Museum. Come explore its history, share your own memories, and celebrate the building’s continuing life as a place for art and community. The day begins with an Open House from 11 a.m.–2 p.m., featuring building history displays, a community memory wall, and current exhibitions. From 2–3 p.m., a special Anniversary Program will feature guest speakers, a gallery dedication, and birthday cake. Then, from 3–5 p.m., stay for the opening of a new exhibition by Morgan Johnson, accompanied by live music. Come see what 90 years looks like and celebrate with us! Free and open to all.
