Full Moon Hike

Step into the woods after dark and experience Cope under the light of November’s Beaver Moon! November is the time of year when beavers are busy preparing their lodges and getting ready for the winter ahead. During this special evening hike, we’ll explore the property after dark and discover some of the nighttime activity happening around us. We’ll use UV flashlights to search for fluorescence, look for signs of nocturnal mammals preparing for winter, and keep our eyes and ears open for winter owls moving through the forest. Come experience Cope from a completely different perspective as the moon lights our way through the night. Bring a flashlight and dress appropriately for the weather.
