Stone Soup Festival – Event #2: Saturday, December 12 | 12:30–2:30 PM River Fellowship Initiatives: Cora Community Company Intro Workshop Experience Cora Dance's Fellowship Initiatives firsthand through the welcoming structure of Cora Community Company workshops, where community members of all ages and experience levels are invited to create dance together. Guided by Cora Co-Directors Nikki Assanti and Shannon Hummel, participants will explore accessible movement, creative collaboration, and storytelling while learning about the Fellowship model, which builds connection and belonging through the shared experience of making art. No prior dance experience is necessary. Stone Soup Festival – Event #3: Saturday, December 12 | 2:30 PM River Fellowship Initiatives: Cora Community Company Workshop Showing Immediately following the workshop, participants share a newly created work, inspired by Ammara Shafqat’s Fellowship work, River, in an informal public showing (location TBD). More than a performance, this gathering offers audiences a glimpse into Cora Dance's creative process and celebrates the power of dance to foster dialogue, strengthen community, and transform strangers into collaborators.
