From Spain to Cuba. A South Beach Chamber Ensemble Concert

The South Beach Chamber Ensemble returns to the Coral Gables Museum for the 2026–2027 season with works spanning Spanish classical traditions and Cuban danzas. The repertoire includes Manuel Canales’ String Quartet in D Major, Op. 1 (1782), Joaquín Turina’s String Quartet in D Minor, Op. 4, de la guitarra (1911), and Ignacio Cervantes’ Danzas Cubanas, reflecting the European and Afro-Cuban influences that shaped 19th-century Cuban musical culture.
