One of our favorite artists from 2025 at Crawdads. We had so much fun with Alli and getting her back again this year was important. If you missed last year you have to come see this concert. She and her band will blow you away. High energy and you won’t believe the addition of bagpipes to a country concert. Nashville-based country singer-songwriter Alli Walker, originally from Prince Edward Island, Canada, is quickly becoming one of the genre’s most exciting new voices. With nearly one million followers across social media and two CCMA Award nominations this year, Walker has carved out a lane that is unmistakably her own. Her sound blends the storytelling heart of traditional country with the energy of pop, rock, and the unique flair of her East Coast roots— often punctuated by her signature use of bagpipes, which has become one of her most recognizable calling cards. Walker’s rise reflects both talent and tenacity. After getting her start performing in Canadian clubs and festivals, she made the leap to Nashville, where she began releasing original music rooted in honesty, vulnerability, and empowerment. Her songs often explore resilience, identity, and the messy middle spaces of adulthood—earning her a devoted audience drawn to her authenticity and fearless creative choices. Fans discovered her viral “mindful music” series online, but stayed for her anthemic singles, dynamic live performances, and the way she balances strength with a sense of play. In 2024, Walker had a breakout year defined by several career-making moments. A standout highlight was joining country icon Shania Twain on stage to perform Walker’s hit “The Whiskey’s Gone,” complete with a soaring bagpipe solo that stopped the show and introduced her to a global audience. She also recorded the heartfelt duet “First Time Living” with Gretchen Wilson, a mother-daughter themed ballad exploring forgiveness, generational healing, and the way families find their way back to each other. The track’s emotional resonance quickly made it a fan favorite. That same year, Walker stepped onto one of country music’s most hallowed stages—the Ryman Auditorium—marking a milestone she had dreamed of since childhood. Her career momentum attracted attention from both sides of the border. Walker is now signed to 604 Records in Canada, the label owned by Nickelback’s Chad Kroeger, and to Huff Co. in the United States, led by acclaimed producer Dann Huff. Her next album is already underway, with new music produced by Kroeger, Huff, and hitmaker Michael Carter(Cole Swindell, Luke Bryan). The trio’s combined sonic vision pushes Wal...
