About this event
One of 189 upcoming events at Creative Alliance, and 380 across Baltimore.
Never having been divided into apartments, Scott Ponemone's 1850s Mount Vernon townhouse is a true Baltimore treasure. The original plaster medallions, crown moldings and pocket doors with etched glass provide the setting for his collection of high-style early 19th-century American furniture - many pieces Baltimore made - and his print and book collections, including trailblazing graphic novels of the 1920s and 1930s. On display in Scott's second floor studio are some of his watercolors, a most recent subject has been of couples he approached in public places as well a a series of mandala-like linoleum cuts that became the heart of his book "Circularity," which he co-authored with poet Karen Klein. Grab a cocktail, some hor d'oeuvres, and take a tour of one of most unique collections in Baltimore.
