Lee is an accomplished jazz pianist, educator, composer, and arts advocate whose career has been dedicated to preserving the rich legacy of jazz while inspiring the next generation of musicians. As the founder and CEO of the Memphis Jazz Workshop, Lee has become a leading force in jazz education throughout the Mid-South, creating opportunities for young artists to develop their musical talents through instruction, mentorship, and live performance. Known for his expressive touch and deep understanding of the jazz tradition, Lee’s performances draw from bebop, blues, gospel, and modern jazz influences. His artistry reflects the spirit of legendary pianists while maintaining a distinctive musical voice rooted in creativity, swing, and soulful improvisation. As a recording artist, Lee has released two albums, Music in the Key of My Life and In the Moment, which highlight his abilities as a pianist, composer, and arranger.
