About SDJO: The South Dakota Jazz Orchestra (SDJO) is South Dakota's premier big band and jazz ensemble based in the Black Hills region. It operates as an official initiative of Improvise Arts to promote jazz and Black American music through regional concerts, community swing dances, and youth programs.
