LIVE THEATER PERFORMANCE-ASK MRS LINCOLN, as portrayed by actor and educator Heléna Eilenberg. The year is 1875. Come and speak with Mary Todd Lincoln just after her release from a mental institution. You will meet the most maligned First Lady in a revealing new light. She is portrayed based on her own letters, the writings of those who knew her, and the recently discovered records of her insanity trial. Learn about her marriage to Abraham Lincoln, their lives before and in Washington during the Civil War. Learn about their children, how she was perceived by others, and what contributed to the image that has lasted of Mary Todd Lincoln to this day.
