🎨 Explore the ancient visual language of Guancasco, embedded in Lenca iconography, and translate it into contemporary ceramic art! Join art instructor Sonia Medina for DIY Factory: Guancasco in Patterns at Renner-Frankford Branch Library. Participants will learn the foundational skills of pottery handbuilding and glazing techniques, creating their own ceramic work of art that preserves cultural heritage through modern applications. This is a two-part series — the second session builds on the first, so attendance at both is encouraged.
