Docent Training Open House

Have you ever wondered what it takes to become a docent at the Davenport House Museum? Join us for a free informational open house on Wednesday, August 26, with sessions at 10:00 a.m. and 5:30 p.m., to learn more about our docent program, training process, and the rewarding experience of sharing Savannah's history with visitors from around the world. Following the open house, our docent training course will be held on Wednesday evenings from 5:30–7:00 p.m., September 2–16. Whether you're passionate about history, enjoy meeting new people, or are looking for a meaningful volunteer opportunity, we'd love to introduce you to the Davenport House community. Reservations are preferred but not required.
