Revolutionary Roundtable: Our Declaration of Independence: Discussion of The Greatest Sentence Ever Written by Walter Isaacson.

Beginning on Saturday, July 18th at 10:30 am the David M. Hunt Library will host “Revolutionary Roundtable: a reading and discussion group focused on our emerging nation from 1740-1791” with avid amateur historian and Falls Village resident Richard Berzine. The group will meet monthly from July through December, exploring various topics and writings together. Participants can join for individual sessions or all six. A copy of the readings will be available at the library in advance. The July session will focus on “Our Declaration of Independence: Discussion of The Greatest Sentence Ever Written by Walter Isaacson” and will include excerpts from The Virginia Declaration of Rights and John Locke’s Second Treatise of Government. A copy of Isaacson’s book will be given to the first 20 participants.
