From Day Block Brewery

Social Pariah Minnesota-based Social Pariah is a three-piece metal and grunge band bringing a heavy, raw edge to the local music scene. Drawing inspiration from ’90s grunge and hard-hitting metal, their sound combines gritty guitar work, powerful vocals, and crushing rhythms. Influences including Alice in Chains, Pantera, Acid Bath, Crowbar, Soundgarden, and Mudvayne shape their aggressive yet melodic approach. With original music and a growing presence in the Minnesota scene, Social Pariah is pushing their sound in a heavier direction. Taste of Vervain Minneapolis-based Taste of Vervain delivers a crushing, progressive take on deathcore, combining heavy distortion, intricate rhythms, dissonant textures, and dynamic songwriting. The Twin Cities quartet—Justin, Kieran, Garrett, and Cade—pushes beyond straightforward brutality with a sound that balances aggression and atmosphere. Self-producing their music, the band released their six-song EP Until I Cease in 2025, showcasing their technical musicianship, intense vocals, and boundary-pushing approach to modern extreme metal. Sensing Agony Minnesota-based Sensing Agony is a post-hardcore band bringing raw intensity, melodic aggression, and emotionally charged energy to the Twin Cities scene. Founded by guitarist Kyan and drummer Ben before expanding with Shawn on bass and Jessica on vocals, the band draws from melodic hardcore and heavy alternative influences. Their powerful performances combine crushing instrumentation with dynamic vocals, showcased on singles including “House of Cards” and “Happy Song.” Sensing Agony is quickly establishing themselves as a band to watch. A Martyrs Dilemma Minnesota-based A Martyrs Dilemma delivers a crushing blend of modern metal and extreme heaviness, combining aggressive instrumentation, intense vocals, and dynamic songwriting. The band has built a presence in the Twin Cities metal scene through powerful live performances and uncompromising music. Their 2024 album REINVENTING HATRED showcases their relentless approach across seven tracks, including “Heavy Lies The Crown,” “Unhinged,” “Beyond God,” and “Villainized.” A Martyrs Dilemma continues pushing their sound into darker, heavier territory.
