About this event
One of 159 upcoming events at Delaware Museum of Nature & Science.
@ BEE WILD is an inspirational, upbeat, and poetic documentary that explores the foundational role that bees play in sustaining humanity, the reasons for their sharp population decline and how we can regenerate bees worldwide, so they are once again part of a thriving ecosystem. Because we are losing 1 billion pollinators annually, the film will focus on the urgent nature of both bees and other insects that pollinate our food and emphasize ways that viewers can get involved in restoring, regenerating and nurturing this largely unseen world. BEE WILD focuses on the inherent natural beauty of these magical winged creatures. By bringing viewers along on a journey which is both visually rich in natural wonder as well as exciting in terms of the characters and potential to make a big difference, the film does something unusual for an eco-doc – it offers viewers actionable hope.
