From Delta Flight Museum

Join us as we honor the service, sacrifice, and stories of our nation's veterans with a special day of remembrance at the Delta Flight Museum. Historic WWII DC-3 Experience | 9:00 AM - 1:00 PM Visitors will have the opportunity to step aboard and explore a historic DC-3 aircraft, a type that played a critical role during World War II. Walk through aviation history and experience firsthand about this aircraft. Honor a Veteran Throughout the day, guests are invited to write a note honoring a veteran in their life, whether a family member, friend, or someone whose service they wish to recognize Special Film Screening: Why We Dream | 1:00 PM Why We Dream is a powerful documentary that honors World War II veterans and highlights Delta's annual journeys to Normandy, where veterans return to the historic sites of D-Day to share their stories with future generations. Join us as we reflect on the courage, service, and legacy of those who have served, and help ensure their stories continue to inspire future generations.
