Join us on Friday, July 10th, 2-4pm at Run Pond in Dennis with Tom Walker! Tom will lead us around Run Pond to learn about dragonflies and damselflies! We see them all the time, but what do we actually know about them? Did you know that dragonflies are one of the most efficient predators on earth, with a 90 – 97 % success rate and have the finest vision in the insect world? Come learn more fun facts and see these incredible insects (not as good as they will see you!) *Binoculars or a camera with high magnification highly recommended as is sunscreen, bug spray, water and a hat. (Parking at Flax Pond Conservation Area) About Tom: Tom Walker is a graduate of the University of Massachusetts, Amherst with a Bachelor’s Degree in Wildlife and Fisheries Biology.
