Join us on Sunday, March 22nd at 10:00am at Flax Pond along Setucket Rd for a Winter Tree and Shrub ID Walk with Tom Walker! Tom Walker is a graduate of the University of Massachusetts, Amherst with a Bachelor’s Degree in Wildlife and Fisheries Biology. He spent several seasons surveying wildlife on the west coast for the U.S. Forest Service and Bureau of Land Management prior to returning to New England. He has many natural history interests and has led walks and given presentations on lichens, fungi, bryophytes, woody plants, and dragonflies. He currently works for Provincetown Water Department. Tom will lead us around the Flax Pond Conservation Land to learn about plants that can be difficult to identify in the winter months. Cape Cod in March is still cold to wear layers!
