Eco-Printing Workshop Saturday, Nov 7, 2026 from 11-4 Reconciliation House 20 Academy Street, Burnsville, NC Eco-printing is kind of a natural dyeing technique that uses leaves, flowers, and other plant materials to create patterns and colors on fabric. Join Dig In and teacher Lisa Kolk for a hands-on eco-printing workshop where participants will walk and collect fresh plants to use to dye onto silk scarves. All materials are provided, but participants may bring a small alternative silk option instead if desired, and may also bring pressed or fresh leaves of: tulip poplar, maple, oak, rose, raspberry, sumac, buckeye, eucalyptus, willow, birch, or pressed roses, coreopsis, cosmos, and changing leaves (red or yellow). Wear something that can be stained or bring an apron. We’ll share a potluck lunch while we wait for the fabric to steam, so please bring a potluck dish to share. Sign up is limited to 8 participants. Workshop cost is sliding scale $10-25 and all materials are provided. Registration is required at https://signup.com/go/ocUMKWR
