Capturing the Queen of the Late Summer Garden An Immersive Design Workshop at Dirt Farm Brewing. As the summer heat mellows, the Dahlias take center stage. Known for their intricate geometry and breathtaking palette, these blooms offer endless possibilities for dramatic, high-impact floral design. Join us for a hands-on workshop where we dive deep into the world of Dahlias—from the delicate “Ball” varieties to the massive “Dinnerplates.” What You’ll Learn: The Art of Selection: Choosing the best Dahlia varieties for longevity and movement in your arrangements. Structural Design: Techniques for supporting top-heavy blooms and creating balanced, airy compositions. Color Theory in the Field: How to pair the bold hues of late summer with seasonal textures and foliage. Processing & Care: Professional tips for keeping these thirsty blooms fresh from the field to the vase.
