Austin Cash and Nathan Smerage

Dissonant Works, 2218 S Jefferson Ave, St. Louis, MO 63104, USA Saturday, November 8 at 7 pm, it’s a great pairing of two great duos (duos are a pairing too (two?)) Coming from Chicago (via Arkansas and Chicago in some serendipitous cross cultural exchange almost), Austin Cash & Nathan Smerage! Think Americana, American primitive guitar, folk, and experimentation; think John Fahey, Bert Jansch, Marissa Anderson. Local support will be provided by a vintage improvised duo set by Alex Cunningham and Damon Smith duo. Frequent collaborators, you will witness some true telepathy in their performance, and perhaps some of Cunningham’s bluegrass bona fides and Smith’s chameleonic ability to blend into anything.
