About this event
One of 7 upcoming events at Dissonant Works, and 882 across St. Louis Metro.
Dissonant Works, 2218 S Jefferson Ave, St. Louis, MO 63104, USA October 15! 8 pm! Ambient artist Toby Summerfield is coming all the way from New Hampshire!! 20/pwyc/donations plssss!! Toby Summerfield plays “heroic ambient!” In his own words “I play guitar, baritone guitar, bass guitar, pedal steel and foot-operated bass synth- when my feet are free. No looping.I’ve been joking that it’s “Heroic Ambient” music. It’s technically challenging to play, which makes it thrilling to watch, but the sounds are soothing.” Playing in support is modern classical/drone composer Bret Schneider, Sounds Like Noise (Matt Derouin of Future/Modern’s ambient project) and the debut of drone artist highwaynoise (from Springfield, IL!)
