Opens Saturday, December 5 from 1-3 pm, exhibit up through December 27 The Dolphin Gallery presents Baskets Here and Now, a new exhibition by the Mendonoma Basket Makers, opening Saturday, December 5 with a reception from 1 to 3 p.m. The show will remain on view through December 27. This vibrant collection highlights the artistry and innovation of local makers who bring contemporary vision to a time‑honored craft. Featuring a range of materials, techniques, and personal styles, Baskets Here and Now celebrates the creativity flourishing within our coastal community and the enduring appeal of basketry as both functional object and expressive art form. 501(c)(3) Tax ID# 94-6121872 The Gualala Arts Center gratefully acknowledges the Native Peoples whose ancestral homelands we now share, and specifically the Pomo of Kashia and Manchester-Point Arena tribes, the first inhabitants of what is now coastal Sonoma and Mendocino Counties.
