Biography: Diana McLain Smith has led change efforts for 35 years in some of America’s most iconic businesses and cutting-edge non-profits. Her Leading Through Relationship (LTR)™ approach is used around the world to turn intergroup conflict into a constructive force for change. Diana is the author of dozens of articles and the award-winning book Remaking the Space Between Us as well as The Elephant in the Room, Divide or Conquer, and Action Science (with Chris Argyris and Robert Putnam). She is vice chair of the Not in Our Town board and an advisor to the Rebuild Congress Initiative. Diana has served as a lecturer on the faculty at the Carroll School of Management doctoral and management programs and as a guest lecturer at Harvard Law School, Harvard Business School, and the Harvard Graduate School of Education. She received her doctoral degree from Harvard University.
