Crook House After Dark Details: November 5th 7:00 PM – 8:30 PM Crook House Museum $30 per person (plus tax) CROOK HOUSE AFTER DARK The house has stood since 1879. Its history is well known. Some of its stories are a little harder to explain. When the last visitors leave, the doors close, and the historic rooms grow quiet, the Crook House takes on an entirely different atmosphere. Crook House After Dark returns for another unforgettable evening where history, mystery, and the unexplained come together! Join the Douglas County Historical Society and Jamie Nestroyl of Midwest Paranormal History Tours for a 90-minute after-hours experience inside the historic Crook House Museum. This is your opportunity to explore the home beyond the traditional museum tour and discover stories you won’t hear during an ordinary daytime visit. This is not a ghost hunt. Instead, Crook House After Dark explores the paranormal through a historical lens, bringing together the fascinating history of this 1879 home and firsthand accounts from people who have lived, worked, volunteered, and spent time within its walls. Unexplained sounds. Unexpected encounters. Unusual experiences that have left people wondering what exactly happened. Some accounts are subtle. Others are anything but. What did people hear? What did they see? What happened in certain rooms that left such a lasting impression? And why are some of these experiences still being talked about years later? As you make your way through the historic rooms and hallways, you’ll hear stories that invite curiosity, raise questions, and perhaps send a few chills down your spine. There are no staged scares or manufactured encounters. Just history, firsthand experiences, and the mysteries that have become part of the Crook House’s story. Whether you’re fascinated by local history, intrigued by the paranormal, or simply love a good mystery, Crook House After Dark offers an entirely different perspective on one of Omaha’s historic treasures.
