Theater Thursday: Double Feature

Closing our October Double Feature, Nosferatu shifts from quiet, ghostly unease to full gothic dread, asking what happens when a darkness we invite in refuses to leave. Together with The Sixth Sense, these films explore the presence of death among the living, and the fear, sorrow, and obsession that follow. Nosferatu follows a young woman haunted by a terrifying presence as an ancient count fixates on her and brings plague and ruin in his wake. Through its shadowy, atmospheric storytelling, the film explores desire, dread, and the price of forces we cannot control. Join us for a discussion following this haunting cinematic experience.
