HEYZ at The Fruit

Morning Choir presents North Carolina’s own HEYZ for a homecoming stop on his ‘Something Different’ Tour, bringing bold sound design and forward-thinking bass music back to Durham’s underground. Originally from North Carolina and now making waves out of Denver, HEYZ has carved out a lane that bridges the underground and the unfiltered. His catalog spans mau5trap, BiteThis!, Lowly, Deadbeats, Bassrush, and Odyzey, reflecting an evolution from techno-rooted beginnings to a forward-thinking bass sound that refuses to sit still. Bold sound design, unexpected humor, and immersive aesthetics define a project that treats unconventional concepts as a creative framework rather than a gimmick. What emerges is HEYZ’s pursuit of originality over comfort. Kinetic live sets at Red Rocks, Lost Lands, and Bass Canyon have built a reputation as a performer who refuses easy categorization, while viral content and creative storytelling have captured fans across platforms with both authenticity and genuine artistic vision. This is bass music as immersive world-building. From Denver stages back to North Carolina’s most intimate warehouse setting, this homecoming stop represents exactly the kind of unfiltered creative energy that Morning Choir exists to champion. Expect bold sound design, kinetic energy, and the kind of unconventional vision that keeps fans guessing and coming back for more.
