JENNY BLAZING: CAROLINA, OR THEREABOUTS

5 Points Gallery is pleased to present Carolina, or Thereabouts, a new exhibition of mixed-media paintings by Featured Artist Jenny Blazing exploring the shifting nature of place through observation, memory, and imagination. Grounded in Blazing’s experiences of Carolina, the layered works draw from travel, accumulated visual memories, and unexpected connections that emerge as the paintings evolve to create landscapes that feel familiar without belonging to any single geography. Throughout the gallery, visitors can also enjoy work by our ten Triangle-based artists, offering a refreshing mix of painting, sculpture, fused glass, mixed media, and finely crafted furniture, with each artist bringing a distinct creative perspective. Join us for the Opening Reception on Friday, October 16, 2026, from 6–9 pm to meet the artist. Carolina, or Thereabouts runs from October 15 through November 14, 2026. Image: The Sun, The Tree, and Everything Between, acrylic and hand-painted paper on stretched canvas, 36×36 inches. Visit 5 Points Gallery in person or online at https://5pointsgallery.com. All work from the exhibition is available for shipping or pickup. Gallery hours: Thursdays and Fridays 5–9pm, Saturdays 1–9pm. Artists are available to talk about their work.
