About this event
One of 424 upcoming events at Downtown Ithaca Alliance.
Join Barbara Regenspan for a free guided generative poetry workshop for non-poets and experienced poets! The event will consist of a brief poetry reading and generative writing workshop on the subject of finding lightness in a painful estrangement. Barbara will read her poems resonant with her own experience and speak briefly about the magic of poetry to express humor and lightness around the heavy experience of being estranged from one’s child. The workshop will include two twelve minute generative writing sessions for the participants and a voluntary reading of drafts.
